PUDSEY SPRING SHOW – 6th April 2024
Saturday 06/04/24 sees the first show of the year at Pudsey Parish Church, Church Lane, Pudsey LS28 8BE where Leeds branch will be heavily involved in the Pudsey Cottage Gardeners and allotments spring show. There will be something for every one and children too. The Cactus and succulent classes are for experts novices and juniors so please come and support this event. All junior entrants in these classes get a free plant.
For those interested in extending their plant collection there will also be plant sales and expert advice on cultivation so please come and say hello and have a chat and may be purchase a plant or two from us.
PUDSEY PLANT SALE – 11th May 2024
Pudsey Allotments Cottage Gardeners Association in partnership with Leeds branch of the BCSS will be holding its annual plant sales at the HUT Parkfield Close, Pudsey, LS28 7RY on Saturday 11/05/2024 starting at 10:00 and finishing at 14:00.
There are lots to buy including all bedding plants shrubs fruit bushes and trees and sundries such as compost grit pots etc and YES there is a BIG table dedicated to CACTUS and SUCCULENTS so come say hello, bag a bargain, have a coffee and chat about all things plant orientated. Indeed please ask any cultivation questions as there are many experts on hand with many years of experience.
PUDSEY SUMMER SHOW 7th September 2024
Pudsey allotments and cottage gardeners association in association with Leeds branch BCSS are organizing their second show of the year at Pudsey parish church Church Lane, Pudsey, LS28 8BE.
Come and join the fun lots of different classed not just plants. Their is also refreshments, tombola raffle and lots of children’s classes including cactus and succulents where every child get a free plant and a badge. And most importantly there will be sales of Leeds branch members surplus plants so come and stock up and build your collection. Or may be just come and chat and get advise from our experts on the day.
BRADFORD AND LEEDS SHOW EVENT – 22nd September 2024
RHS Harlow Carr is well worth the visit for the gardens alone and then Bettys tea rooms if you need refreshment later BUT it is hoped that you will come and visit the Cactus and succulent show hosted by Bradford and Leeds BCSS branch’s a FIRST at this location.. You will see many exotic and rare plants on display. With helpers ready to chat to you about our plants so don’t be afraid to engage and challenge them as they have many years of experience. There will also be an opportunity to purchase members spare pants at realistic prices and may be join our society and become part of our fascinating hobby.

Bradford and Leeds Branch Show at Harlow Carr
Zone 3 Rally – 26th October 2024
ZONE 3’S ANNUAL RALLY WILL BE HELD 26/10/24 AT Carlton Social Club Main Street, Carlton, Rothwell, Leeds, WF3 3RW. Doors open 10:00 finish at 16:30. Tickets are £12 or £17 if you are having the buffet.
There will be 3 fabulous presentations from speakers, plant and sundries sales, a raffle and free tea/coffee and biscuits for all attendees. Every attendee can have a table to be able sell plants free on the day but as space is limited please book with Peter Smith either by e mail secretary@leeds.bcss.org.uk or ring mobile 07817688110 landline 0113 2505276 to ensure availability.
